Grace Scores Her First Goal!!

Grace is probably the 2nd smallest kid on her soccer team so getting the ball is a bit challenging for her during games. She does have heart though and just loves running around. On Saturday, she was in the right place at the right time and dribbled the ball from midfield and scored her first goal. Of course her teammate who is the only kid who ever plays defense stopped it at first and everyone on the sidelines freaked out and got him out of the goal so she could actually score. Grace is a bit of a fan favorite out there. :-)

After a quick high-five from Coach Fred, she told him, “You need to move so my daddy can take my picture.” Too funny. :-)

Easter/Passover 2012

The Connor family through a pretty nice Easter/Passover party last Sunday. Best brisket dad ever made, a bellini bar, horseradish deviled eggs, ham…

I started smoking the brisket at about 5:30am and Jack came out around 7:45am. When I turned on his bubble blower, he FREAKED OUT!! Of course his joy woke up at least one neighbor. :-) Oops. The kids loved the egg hunt.

Our neighbor’s tree (with a little wind and a little shake) provided the best location ever for Easter portraits!!

Olivia has grown so much in the past few months! Can’t believe she is already 3 months old and is beyond the happiest baby ever! Jack turned two on Jan. 25th and is now talking up a storm and trying to do everything Grace does! He can count up to 10 now and is such my busy little guy! grace is just an awesome kid who loves to tell jokes and stories! She can write her name and is such my crafty little ladybug! I am one very lucky momma!

Jack Turns 2

Wow, those two years flew by!! Of course we’ve been trying all year to get Jack to say he was 1. He finally learned it just recently and now he’s two and doesn’t get it! Haha.

Unlike our usual big birthday bashes, we decided to keep it low-key and just the 5 of us. I shut off my work phone and work emails and took the whole day off (rare!).

Jack had a blast. He got a ton of loot from us and other family: Legos, Tool Belt, New Train Tracks, New Thomas Trains… Grace even got a new tool box. :-)

We still decorated the house with streamers, piñatas and games for him and baked a big ol’ birthday cake.

Olivia at 2 Months

It’s funny to see how much Olivia has chunked out. Grace never got chunky so it’s cute to see the big cheeks. I also love the photos of Nicole and Olvia. Too sweet! The photo at the end tells the story of how hard it is to get the shots. Grace loves climbing on me while taking photos.
