Thought I would take a minute out of wedding-editing and post some photos and video that make me laugh.

Our son Jack (6 months) has the craziest hair and is ALWAYS smiling!  When I got him out of bed this morning, he looked so sweet.I try to take Grace to MyGym on Fridays and lately we have been the only people so we have had the run of the place.  I shot this video last Friday and have probably watched it 100 times since then.  If you are in a bad mood, this will cure it.  It just reminds me of how special childhood is when everything is so simple and happy.

Saturday was a KICK-ASS wedding down in Charlottesville, Virginia but instead of staying over, I had to get home for our daughter’s 2nd birthday party on Sunday.  I think I pulled into the driveway just after 3am and got a couple hours of sleep before partying with our daughter and about 50 of our closest friends.  The weather was very warm and the kids loved the new playset out back.  Everyone was so kind to come over and make her feel so special!

We were happy to meet so many fun brides on Sunday at the Bethesda Bridal Show.  The next day our newest “hire” Jack came into our family.

Connor Studios will be working out of our hospital office until Thursday morning when we all get to go back home.  Jack was 7lbs. 8oz. and just shy of 21 inches long. Grace has been so cute with him but I still think that she doesn’t have a clue that he is coming home!

We couldn’t be happier.  Nicole and Jack are very happy and healthy.

So, now you know Jack.

Just over 20 months ago, our “family” was changed and made better by the presence of our daughter Grace.  On Monday, our family is going to be made whole by the birth of our son (in heated negotiations and a mean game of rock/paper/scissors – best 200 out of 300 at this point – about name!!!).

This was a photograph of Grace on the first day she came into our lives.  (no, that’s not a wig!)  I remember that day and I have to say that I can’t wait to see how beautiful our son will be.

It’s Grace’s 2nd Halloween and this year she flipped out over a monkey outfit she saw in the store so Monkey it was.  She has spent much of the last week in her monkey outfit and it’s been pretty cute.

We also got to take some Fall pics of her and the family last weekend.
