One Week Old

Happy Mother’s Day to Lisa!  What a trooper bringing her 5 children out to their home on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland for portraits of her one-week-old son.

It’s only been 3 months since my son was that size but I already forgot how tiny they are.  He was so cute but didn’t want to sleep — I guess all the cameras and lights were way too interesting!  I’m sure he conked out the minute I left.

One of my favorite photographs is where he is in the bowl and flashes the peace sign.  :-)

Our Grace turned 2.0

Saturday was a KICK-ASS wedding down in Charlottesville, Virginia but instead of staying over, I had to get home for our daughter’s 2nd birthday party on Sunday.  I think I pulled into the driveway just after 3am and got a couple hours of sleep before partying with our daughter and about 50 of our closest friends.  The weather was very warm and the kids loved the new playset out back.  Everyone was so kind to come over and make her feel so special!

Our friend Rod Lamkey was kind enough to make this video of Grace blowing out her candles.  Thanks Rod!

This is a photo of her one-year-old birthday card picture on the left and this year’s on the right.  I can’t believe she is already 2!

New Connor Family Photos

Jack was born not too long ago long and skinny.  The skinny is no more!  He has chunked out like a little man.

A Jack Update

Jack just turned 3 weeks (that flew by).  He is doing really well — a really chill little boy.  Thought I would post his first portrait shoot.  He did really well for it.  Having a space heater blasting on high didn’t hurt to keep things comfy!

Now You Know Jack – Our Newest “Hire”

We were happy to meet so many fun brides on Sunday at the Bethesda Bridal Show.  The next day our newest “hire” Jack came into our family.

Connor Studios will be working out of our hospital office until Thursday morning when we all get to go back home.  Jack was 7lbs. 8oz. and just shy of 21 inches long. Grace has been so cute with him but I still think that she doesn’t have a clue that he is coming home!

We couldn’t be happier.  Nicole and Jack are very happy and healthy.

So, now you know Jack.

Happy Halloween!

It’s Grace’s 2nd Halloween and this year she flipped out over a monkey outfit she saw in the store so Monkey it was.  She has spent much of the last week in her monkey outfit and it’s been pretty cute.

We also got to take some Fall pics of her and the family last weekend.
