Jenny and Scott’s wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was more than you could ever ask for. Besides being an awesome (and great looking) couple, the day was perfect.
When I spoke with Jenny earlier in the week she was worried about rain on Saturday. I guess I would rather worry about it all week and have it never happen than not worry about it and have it happen. At the end of the day, she had nothing at all to worry about. In fact, it was actually warm and the sunset was beautiful.
I just got home from the wedding and am pulling in over 4,000 images from the day but wanted to share a few quickly.
They had a Harvest Moon during the reception so I pulled them out to do a few portraits where they had to stay REAL still since the shutter was open for 4 seconds (to put it into perspective, every other portrait we shot of them was at least 1/250th of a second — big difference). They were great sports about it and I think got a fun photograph out of it.
At the end of the night, they had a sparkler send-off. Packing that many people into such a small place with sparklers (and a few adult beverages) can make for a great photo but a scary departure! After all the hairspray applied to the ladies at the salon earlier in the day, more than one of them mentioned a worry about something going horribly wrong while lighting the sparklers.
It really was a beautiful day from beginning to end. I will post a ton more soon but wanted to get a few up.
Jenny and Scott: Thank you again for including us on your day.
