Sometimes everything just comes together. Lianne + Vishal’s wedding(s) was DEFINITELY one of those times!
Their wedding was a blend of Vishal’s Indian/Hindu heritage and Lianne’s Western/Christian heritage. We started with a Hindu ceremony in the morning at The Willard. The photo of Lianne getting her sari pinned by Mala in the window is one of my favorites. We always love blended weddings like this. Watching Lianne’s family experience their first Hindu ceremony and all of its trappings was a lot of fun.
After that, it was off to the Meridian House for an insanely gorgeous outdoor wedding. The planning, the garden, the weather, the couple… Every single thing came together to make it perfect. We joke that it’s one of those days where you can drop your camera and “accidentally” take a portfolio photograph!
Lianne looked stunning in her wedding dress and all the guys looked great in tuxes. We loved their seating chart that was done in calligraphy on old window panes hung in the garden. It was a beautiful touch.
In the end, it was a long day but man, it was a perfect day!
