Lindsay + Evan | Jewish Wedding Photography | TPC Potomac At Avenel Farm, Potomac, MD

In the midst of building our Ark due to the 40 days and 40 nights of rain around the DC area, weddings are still happening.  Whatever prayers were made for Lindsay and Evan’s wedding worked.  The day before was one of the worst rain days we had.  Somehow, it got it all out of its system for the time they needed it on Saturday.

We started downtown with our couple getting ready at the Capital Hilton where we will able to do our first look and then head down to the White House for portraits.  After finishing up at the White House, we made it onto the bus right as the sprinkles started and it was off to Potomac for the ceremony and reception at Avenel.  Driving into the Country Club, we saw a horse field with the most beautiful flowers all through it so we took our couple back down for portraits.  With the field of yellow and the clouds in the background, we were in heaven!

The ceremony and reception were perfect.  We see a lot of the same details at wedding every weekend but Lindsay and Evan surprised us with a couple.  Their yarmulkas were inscribed on the inside with humorous directions for their non-Jewish guests and they put a selfie-stick on each table labeled with their Instagram hashtag.  We saw guests using them all night and having a blast.
