We always love heading up to New York for weddings. When Sandhya told me that the Friday events would be in Manhattan but the wedding and reception would be in Jersey City, my first thought was “Why in the world would we leave Manhattan?!”.
Location, Location, Location! You definitely don’t get the view of Manhattan from inside it but hop across the river and it’s about the nicest backdrop you could ask for.
Everything turned out perfectly for their Fall wedding. Friday was held a couple blocks from the new One World Trade Center (Freedom Tower). On Saturday, after starting in New York, their guests hopped on a water taxi to take them across the Hudson to Liberty House in Jersey City, NJ.
The ceremony was spectacular and took place at sunset so you got to see a completely different scene from beginning to end. The reception moved inside and kept the dance floor packed all night.
What really made the weekend was just how wonderful Sandhya and Neil were to photograph and be around!
