I’m always cautious when talking with a bride about the weather forecast for their day. I know how superstitious people can be. But the weather was looking amazing less than a week out so when I told Tracie, she sounded so happy because she hadn’t looked. And then… Hurricane Hermine. The next day when she went to look, the forecast was awful. Thankfully, a few days later, the weather gods decided that this was not the parade to rain on and we got an absolutely beautiful day.
This wedding was just a blast! We loved how Tracie and Jose incorporated their kids into their ceremony from the mixing of crystals to holding their son during the first kiss. Those will be huge memories for the rest of their life. Of course the surprise of the Washington Nationals’ Running Presidents hitting the dance floor after the cake cutting made for amazing photos and was a hit with the guests. The setting for it all at the Carnegie Institution For Science was absolutely perfect as well.
A huge thank you goes out to the team that made this happen including my guys, Kaitlin and her crew from Cheers Darling Events and all the others below!
