If you are going to get married twice, do what Tracey and Amit did. Get married twice on the same day to the same person!
We spent a beautiful Fall day with Tracey and Amit at Newton White Mansion in Mitchellville, Md. where we started off with a Hindu ceremony inside followed by a Christian ceremony outside and then a party all night. Both ceremonies were absolutely beautiful and a nice tying together of both of their cultures.
Tracey and Amit were both SOOOO easy going. All these shows about crazy brides and grooms must be shot on a different planet because almost all of our brides and grooms are so down to earth and just enjoy their day. Tracey was always smiling and Amit made everyone laugh (especially when he pulled out the pants he had to wear for the Hindu ceremony that looked like they were from a Jared/Subway commercial). Of course the ring bearer and flower girls couldn’t be cuter!
Newton White is an absolutely beautiful place that I think a lot of people don’t know about but should. It’s so peaceful when you get out there and you feel so far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Between the hard work Trisha Cranor of Working Brides (and her team) did in running the show and help photographing it from Washington Post photographer (and good friend) Toni Sandys, the photographs turned out beautifully.
