Abby + Gabe’s wedding was in one of my favorite locations in Washington – the National Museum of Women in the Arts. It’s a breathtaking space and is like a playground for photography!
Their Engagement Session took place with a foggy sunrise in April which made for great photos at the Jefferson Memorial and the Tidal Basin. Their wedding was on a gorgeous Fall day.
Abby was absolutely gorgeous in a strapless dress that showed off some killer arms and Gabe looked great in a fitted tux. Abby’s dad’s speech clocked in at the longest-ever father of the bride speech (17.5 minutes) but was also one of the funniest we’ve ever heard! You never know which wedding is going to tear up a dance floor but this was definitely one. Abby surprised us with some pretty damn impressive dance moves!
With the help of Elizabeth (who kicked ass even though she was days away from delivering her 2nd child) and Alex of Cherry Blossom Events and a host of amazing vendors, they day was just perfect!
