Ever since I met Ann last year, I knew her wedding was going to be a lot of fun! She was referred to us by a good friend and AP photographer Evan Vucci who does Crossfit with her and right before our first meeting, she realized we were shooting one of her friend’s weddings in a few months (who happened to be one of our favorite couples from last year!!). We always love when we have connections to our couples like that because it instantly makes everyone feel more connected.

While we like our big city weddings, with the weather changing to Fall, it was a great chance to head out to the Bay and be outside.

Ann and Sam filled their wedding with so many little personalized touches which looked great. (I think she’s in an Etsy-12-Step-Program right now)

We started off as the two got ready. Ann and all the bridesmaids were just super chill and fun. I don’t know how to describe her dress other than AMAZING. It was just perfect.

The ceremony (officiated by one of our favorites!!) was held on the water’s edge under a perfect blue sky. Looking at the photos, you forget you’re in Maryland some times.

Both Ann and Sam are graduates of the University of Maryland which was displayed not only on their cake topper but also in a surprise visit by Testudo (the Maryland mascot) who got the dance floor going.

Thank you to both of you for letting us hang out with you (and take some photographs)! It was a beautiful day.

(I also have to give a huge thank you to Jay Premack for photographing the wedding with me. Jay is a great wedding photographer and having him along made the photos that much better!)
