I really think my new favorite place to photograph in Washington is the National Museum of Women in the Arts. I could be a bit biased because all of our weddings there have been stunning and all of our brides and grooms there have been amazing!! It also doesn’t hurt that the space is just made for photography!
Chandi mixed in her Sri Lankan heritage for the ceremony which was really wonderful to photograph (in fact, it was probably the EASIEST ceremony to photograph ever!!). She and her dad were brought down the aisle by traditional dancers – not a bad way to make an entrance after coming down the beautiful staircase.
Both of them surprised everyone at the wedding by their choreographed first dance. It’s the first dance we’ve seen with a lift in it (in fact, I think there were two!). They pulled it off perfectly.
All in all, it was just an absolutely beautiful and relaxed day. Can’t have anything but smiles for that!
