The party was amazing for Grace yesterday. It was so warm (ok, HOT) outside but the kids seemed to have a blast on the new swingset and slide. Almost 50 people came over to help Grace party down. I drove back from a wedding in Charlottesville, Virginia and pulled into the driveway just after 3am so I could get a couple hours of sleep and enjoy the party.

These are Grace’s first birthday and second birthday portraits. I can’t believe how much she has grown. I remember at her first birthday party, Emily got her to stand for a couple seconds by herself. On her second birthday party, you couldn’t stop her from climbing the ladder and sliding a couple hundred times!!
