When you get an easy going couple, it’s an awesome day…
When you get to work with a new wedding planner you love, it’s an awesome day…
When you get a beautiful Fall day, it’s an awesome day…
When the groomsmen go skeet shooting before the wedding, it’s an awesome day…
When you get a New Orleans-style 2nd Line parade from the ceremony to the reception, it’s an awesome day…
Get the idea?!?!
It was a long day with Elizabeth and David but if all of our long days could be full of all that, we wouldn’t mind a bit!!
After the ceremony, we marched over to the reception site with a New Orleans-style Brass Band. I think every wedding (except in the summer months) needs this!! David went to school down there and it was such a cool experience. As we marched through Upper Senate Park with a brass band, you couldn’t help but to feel waaaaaay cooler than any other bride in the park getting her portraits taken at the time!
The reception was unlike any reception we’d been to. There was no formal seating and the night just moved along at a perfect pace. It had the formality of a beautiful wedding but was so laid back that it matched the bride and groom perfectly.
Emily Butler and Amber Karson of Karson Butler Events did an amazing job with the day!
