This is the first time I’ve ever met with a bride who I happened to photograph before. When I was working for the newspaper, I spent 2 weeks covering Kerry’s mom as she ran for Governor of Maryland in 2002. When I put 2 and 2 together before the meeting, I knew I must have a photo of Kerry from that time and found it in my archive. (I promised she would like the photos of her from her wedding way more than that photo of her at 11!)
You would have never made me believe that 17 years later, I would be photographing her wedding!
All we care about in this business is working with nice people and Kerry and Max couldn’t have been a nicer couple. Top that off with a good team of people and a GORGEOUS day outside at the National Arboretum and we are in heaven. The National Arboretum just recently started allowing weddings and we were blessed with the most beautiful day.
