The Redskins continue to look less than stellar. The only good news that came out of Sunday’s game was that none of the Redskins shot themselves in the leg or covered up a felony gun crime. Other than that, there wasn’t much good news.
The irony was that they were inducting Sean Taylor into their ring of fame a year after he was shot to death in his home. You had to feel a bit odd watching that ceremony from the Giants sideline the day after one of your star players shoots himself in the leg.
It was our worst weather by far this year. It was in the 30’s and just rained and rained and rained. Honestly, it wasn’t as bad as it looked on TV. We did a game about 4 years ago in Denver where it stayed at 32.5 degrees and just RAINED. The only way to come close to describing that game would be to spend 4 hours with your camera equipment in your shower. That is not even close to an exaggeration! For any of you photographers reading this, we recommend KATA rain covers. You don’t see them a whole lot for some reason but after using most of them on the market nothing beats them on both usability and price. They are more user friendly and less than half the cost of an AquaTech cover for the 400mm.
Sean Taylor’s dad Pedro spoke as the rain came down about his son:
