When I got the call from Nina about her upcoming wedding, I instantly remembered her. One of the first Indian weddings we photographed was her sister’s and it was one we will NEVER forget. Luckily we were still open because they decided to fast track their wedding planning into a few months rather than waiting a year or more.

The Sangeet and Rehearsal dinner at the St. Regis was stunning in the new Astor Pavillion (a custom made tent for the space).

The next day was a gorgeous sunny day. We started off with Nina as she got ready at the St. Regis and then it was off for a chilly Baraat down 16th Street. I love the photo of Nina and Sumeet’s dad during the Milni. They both just look so happy!

Hindu weddings are always stunning and full of detail. After the ceremony, we were able to take Nina and Sumeet around the St. Regis for portraits. The lobby and the grounds are so beautiful to photograph in (and it doesn’t hurt that Nina was absolutely stunning!).

Walking into the ballroom at The Willard for their reception, my jaw almost hit the floor. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it so stunning! From the tables to the lighting to the flowers, it was perfect.

Guests were surprised by dancers performing three different routines. It was quite the show!

I always love when we are at weddings where our former brides and grooms are attending. It was great to see Sonya + Vivek and their beautiful 1-year-old daughter and to see Sabrina who just had a baby and looked amazing!

Also, working with a team of wedding vendors like we had makes the day so much easier. Most, we had worked with before many times and they are some of our favorites!
